Since the first fish came out a while back there
has been a lot of 20's out. There has even been a lot of low 20's
which I think are mostly home bred in the lake. To be honest I'm a
little worried there might be to many like in the day ticket lake. I know
some anglers don't seem to want to but I would really appreciate pictures of any
20 pound fish for the records to try to assess the stock. I want the lake
to produce big fish and don't want over breading to stunt the upper fish
weights.
The bigger ones are being very cautious.
Craig had the first 30, pictured here a stunning common at just over
30.
Nick Wright had the linier out again at just over
30, down 2 pound from the same time last year and Tony had the Tiger fish at a
new PB of 37.06, again pictured here.
Some of the fish have been up and some have been
down in weight. It seems to be each individual fish is different where as
last season all the fish were up. It was one of the worst winters for
years and from what I can gather the fish in other waters are just the
same. I'm sure they'll make up for it as the season
progresses.
There is some wicked news regards at least one fish
though, we have had our first 40. I've posted the pic's on a separate
report. It's one of the one's we thought would do it and I'm hoping
that one or two others will soon come out over that magical mark. I
seriously think there should be at least 1 more, maybe
2.
The syndicate season was originally June to June
but it has become really muddled up as some new members ended up joining at all
times throughout the year. So this season I am going to bring the
start back to April. This means the June members will only have to pay a
part year. I've had to increase the ticket to £350 since I reduced the
membership to 40, sorry about that. Any one due this June will be charged
£290 to April 1st 2011. Can you let me know as soon as if you want to
re-join please. We'll be sending out a letter but the earlier I know
the better.
Cheers
Gary
