January 2008 - DAY TICKET LAKE REPORT

Last winter there was a lot of fish caught from the day ticket lake in January, mainly on maggots.  There’s hardly been anyone fishing this winter, the weather’s been a bit useless, the lakes have been busy with roads, landscaping etc. and on the whole a host of other excuses.  I’ve not had time to even do one full days fishing myself.

There’s been a few fish caught during December, but now the new years here, all over the UK waters have started to produce so, although you didn’t miss much at the end of 2007, the new year has already kicked in.

Dean Harvey sent me some pictures from his first 2008 trip to the day ticket lake.  Thanks mate, well done and a happy new year to you and all the other Bayeswater angler’s from, Anne, Steve and myself.  Dean’s catch report is the first of the year, please send me some more, it’s the only way I can keep the website updated.
