Bendy And Bendy!

I love carp, even the lumpy bumpy bent characters.  We’ve just introduced two best friends for our resident Quasimodo, it looks like they’ll both be called Bendy, one is an 11 pounder and the other is 16lb.  Both are very young fish, donated by Anthony Sylvester of AJS fisheries.  Anthony supplied about half the commons in Bayeswater.  All his fish have grown on very well.  They are some of the best fish I’ve seen.  They are also very young, even these two characters, which branded un-saleable through their deformities, are less than 6 years old.

As I’ve already said, I’ll be adding further stock to the day ticket lake in the future.  In fact I’m organising a health check on a lake in the next few days.  Providing the fish are declared healthy in this lake, I’ll be netting in the New Year.  It’s impossible to know what the outcome will be but I hope to be able to introduce some more carp to the lakes.

I’ll put up a notice on this website when I know which day the next carp introduction will occur.  We might need a bit of help weighing, photographing and introducing what could be your next carp capture.
