I did an overnighter last Monday night with Lee, who runs the bait factory with Rose for me, and Dave who, I work with at the tackle factory - a works outing really. It P....D it down as we were setting up, we should of gone to the Pub instead. But we didn't !!! Full waterproofs, and setting the brollies up first job, kept us warm and dry(ish) long enough to get the rods out.

The night was uneventful, I kipped none stop 'til the alarm woke me at 6am. I never had time to boil the kettle before Lee had a take with one of the nicest carp I've seen for a while being the culprit. Its not huge, 22lb 14oz, but I thought you would like to see it.

Dave and I blanked, so what, we still enjoyed ourselves and intend to be back next week, Lee's fish alone has spurred us on.
