Mark Twin has been doing a few over night sessions
between work recently to great effect.
On one of the first sessions Mark kicked of with a
new PB common at 29 pound. Mark went on to catch a few more doubles
through the night and rounded his session of with a new mirror PB of
28.12. To say Mark was pleased is an understatement, awesome. Mark's
report is below, and thanks Mark for the pictures and the kind words about the
lake.
Hi Gary.
Great nights fishing, 4 fish, 2 of which were pb's.
First was a 29lb common caught at 8:45 a pb, then at 00:30 I had a 14 lb common.
I had to wait till 5 am for my next one, which was an 18lb 8oz mirror.
Whilst unhooking it in the net one of my other rods went off, this resulted in a
28lb 12oz mirror, another pb. Over 90lb of fish on a 10 hour session. thanks
Gary for producing a water with some great fish in.
Cheers
Mark
Mark went back the next night and bagged a 25.12
mirror, again, awesome.
There is still a lot of 20's coming out of the
lake, even after spawning which is good and proves the lake is heading in the
right direction. Danny Flanagan has had a 20 each session recently, backed
up with a few high doubles. Jim, another angler had a 21 mirror and some
high doubles last week and Steve Noakes had a new lake record at 35.08. In
all a busy week, with other anglers catching a few including more
20's.
Craig Hughes, who witnessed Steve's 35.08 in the
day ticket lake went onto the syndicate and had a 36 the same day followed up
with a PB 40.12 the next day. Congratulations Craig.
