It's always worth a quick midweek night at Bayeswater. Usually it's very quiet compared to the weekends.
Martin Ecott proved this catching a 16lb common and this 17lb mirror. The mirror is the bendy one I introduced this winter. This fish was caught just 10 yards out which is the normal distance mid week due to the carp coming into the margins when its quiet.
The mid week anglers do really well, I had two fish in an hour the other day, one or two other members have been nipping down, catching carp very easily as well. All it takes is a stealthy approach and a handful of bait. If you've got an evening spare, shoot down there and you should have one or two.
Don't forget it's only a fiver for a short, up to 6 hours, session.
Well done Martin.
