Tristian Slack certainly trod in something smelling of roses. He was waiting for his first UK 30 till he caught his first one last week, now he's gone and caught another. It wasn't just any old 30 either, at only a few ounces over the 30 it is now his PB common after catching his PB mirror last week. He isn't going to catch his PB leather at Bayeswater because unfortunately we dont have one but we do think there should be at least one, maybe two 30 pound fully scaled fish. Tristian himself caught a 28lb one last year.
Commons wise, there are now definately two 30's and a good chance of at least one more as there was a different 28lb common out last year.
So, even though the above surface is not in the best repair at the moment the sub-surface is looking fine. Six home grown 30's swimming around, trying to avoid us and doing a good job of it is something to go for, and there will be more I'm sure.
Well done Tris, time to buy a kettle now...!!!
