Danas has caught quite a few upper doubles, the best being this 19lb 14oz chunky beast. He also broke the 20lb barrier with a 21lb plus common in autumn 2006, but unfortunately we gave his photo's back before we had a chance to put them on the website. I'll add them as soon as possible. Father and son. Danas (father) and Modestas (son) Linkevicius have been two of the most successful anglers on Bayeswater Day Ticket lake. It is a rare day indeed when Danas can't catch a carp. In fact, he usually catches quite a few. Here he is with one of his summer catches, a nice 18lb common. [full story]

Gavin Piper wasn't to be outdone by his carp-fishing partner. This 20lb 4oz common was caught on the same day Stuart caught his 20-04 mirror. Aren't these fish looking good, as they grow and grow? Next season we'll see a lot more 20's on the bank at Bayeswater, I'm sure. [full story]

Stuart went from high single to mid double to catching his first 20lb in three sessions. Good angling, Stuart, personal bests are hard to come by. I've been lucky enough to achieve two personal bests this year, common carp and perch, neither one though eclipsed the feeling I had for my first 20lb carp.
